About the job:
I'm looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Accountant/Data Entry Expert to join my team and help bring clarity, organization, and ease to my financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who loves both numbers and people, someone who isn’t just good at spreadsheets, but also great at explaining them in a way that empowers smarter business decisions.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Profit and Loss Insight:
Help me clearly understand my weekly and monthly P&L statements. Break down the numbers so I know exactly where my business stands at a glance.
Client Billing Management:
Track and manage outgoing invoices, ensuring clients are billed accurately and on time.
Expense Tracking:
Keep meticulous tabs on weekly expenses. Help categorize and organize spending, identify any anomalies, and provide a simple weekly update.
Contractor Payments:
Manage and schedule timely payments to my contractors. Keep an organized system that ensures no one is missed.
Financial Reporting & Check-Ins:
Provide short, simple weekly reports summarizing:
Revenue earned
Expenses tracked
Profit margins
Any financial red flags or wins I should know about
What I'm Looking For:
Someone who loves systems, checklists, and making things "make sense."
Clear communicator, especially when it comes to breaking down financial jargon into simple language.
Organized, dependable, and proactive (you don’t just wait for me to ask—you flag things if you see them).
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, billing, or financial operations.
Bonus if familiar with platforms like QuickBooks, Wave, or other billing/expense software.
Ideal Traits:
You find satisfaction in helping creative people stay financially confident and on track.
You’re tech-comfortable (and happy to recommend better tools/systems if you spot opportunities).
You’re trustworthy with sensitive information.
Hours & Rate:
Flexible part-time hours (estimated 5 hours per week to start).
To Apply:
Send a brief note (no formal cover letter needed) telling me:
