Full-Time | Remote | Executive Leadership Position
We are a fast-growing Amazon Wholesale and Brand Management company, focused on building profitable partnerships and helping aspiring sellers through our mentorship program. We are now seeking a Virtual Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence across all key departments and help take the business to the next level.
Role Overview:
The COO will oversee and optimize the daily operations of four critical divisions: Purchasing, Prospecting, Customer Service, and Mentorship/Training. This is a leadership-heavy role requiring operational experience, systems thinking, people management, and Amazon marketplace expertise. You will work directly with the CEO to execute our vision and ensure smooth, scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing:
Oversee purchasing team to ensure efficient order management and inventory planning
Manage supplier relationships and ensure product replenishment meets KPIs
Implement forecasting systems to avoid stockouts and overstocking
Prospecting:
Lead prospecting team to identify profitable suppliers, brands, and distribution opportunities
Set weekly, monthly prospecting targets and monitor lead quality
Create and refine scripts,
Customer Service:
Supervise customer support reps to ensure exceptional service for buyers, brands, and partners
Create SOPs for handling returns, brand complaints, and listing issues
Track and improve CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) metrics
Onboarding & Mentorship Program:
Manage onboarding of new students into our mentorship program
Ensure training is delivered consistently across all students
Implement milestone check-ins, student support escalation, and success tracking
Hold students accountable to program deliverables and timelines
Team Management:
Set clear KPIs and expectations for each department
Conduct weekly tea
Identify training needs and develop team leaders within each department
Continuously optimize workflows and operational procedures
Strategic Execution:
Work closely with the CEO on high-level goals and ensure execution at the team level
Build dashboards and reporting systems to track performance and make data-driven decisions
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and automation where possible
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or COO (Amazon experience preferred)
Deep understanding of the Amazon marketplace, especially Wholesale / Brand Management
Strong leadership skills: able to manage, motivate, and build teams remotely
Excellent communicator: clear written and verbal communication
Process-driven: loves building SOPs, systems, and workflows
Highly organized: able to juggle multiple priorities across different departments
Hands-on mentality: willing to jump in and fix problems before they become fires
Experience using tools like Amazon Seller Central, Google Sheets, Slack,
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
