Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus primarily on on-page SEO strategies, with a strong understanding of off-page SEO. Your goal will be to improve organic search rankings, increase web traffic, and enhance the overall online presence of our clients.
Experience in a digital marketing agency is required, and familiarity with local SEO, particularly in-home services, is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct keyword research to guide content strategy and SEO efforts.
Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for SEO best practices (on-page SEO).
Perform technical SEO audits and implement improvements to website performance.
Ensure websites are optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
Create and optimize meta tags, headings, and URL structures to improve organic rankings.
Conduct backlink analysis and build high-quality backlinks (off-page SEO).
Monitor and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content.
Track and analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify new opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve conversion rates and user engagement.


Qualifications & Experience:
2–3 years of experience in SEO, focusing on both on-page and off-page strategies.
Strong knowledge of on-page SEO (keyword research, meta tags, content optimization).
Experience with technical SEO (site audits, speed optimization, site structure).
Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Ability to analyze SEO data and make improvements based on findings.
Experience with content optimization and collaborating with content teams.
Knowledge of link building and acquiring quality backlinks.
Local SEO experience is required.


Deal Breakers:
No digital marketing agency experience.
Inability to manage a team or delegate tasks effectively.
Limited understanding of key SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
Needs training on foundational SEO principles.
Minimal or no experience managing client accounts.
Not able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Not able to work Eastern Standard Time (US hours).

Work Location:
Remote position with a work-from-home setup.
High-speed internet and a reliable computer are mandatory.
