Local SEO Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled part-time or full-time Local SEO Expert to enhance search rankings, drive organic traffic, and optimize website performance. The ideal candidate has expertise in SEO strategy, keyword research, and analytics. Copywriting experience is a PLUS and will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve local search rankings
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
Optimize website structure, metadata, and on-page elements
Implement off-page SEO, including link building and outreach
Monitor and analyze performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and industry trends
Basic social media posting skills would also be helpful

Qualifications & Skills:

Extensive Local SEO Experience
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist
Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and (optional) technical SEO
Proficiency in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Search Atlas etc.) One or more of these tools
Understanding of Google ranking factors and algorithms
Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
