WordPress Developer (Divi Expert)

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with Divi expertise to join our team as a freelance web builder. You will be responsible for building and maintaining websites using Divi templates based on provided designs. This includes both creating new websites and revising existing ones, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, functionality, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities:

- Build and customize websites using WordPress and Divi templates based on design mockups.
- Follow SOPs and design systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure websites are responsive and function across devices.
- Make revisions to websites as needed based on client feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to layout, functionality, and plugins.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance.
- Test websites for cross-browser compatibility.

Requirements:

- Proven experience with WordPress and Divi (2+ years).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience creating responsive websites.
- Ability to work with some overlap during Eastern Time Zone hours for communication and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Availability for weekly video calls and chat-based communication.

Nice to Have:

- Proven experience in Divi WordPress development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of SEO optimization and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with common WordPress plugins (e.g., Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, WPForms, etc.).
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript for customization and troubleshooting.
