Installation Crew Scheduling (construction)

IDEAL Shower Doors is a premium shower door company based in Massachusetts. We're looking for a sharp, reliable Virtual Assistant who can help us coordinate and schedule our daily installation jobs with precision and common sense.

This role is critical. You will be responsible for helping us build daily routes and assign job times that make sense — for both our customers, our installers, and the business' needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinating daily installation schedules based on:
- Location of jobs (cluster geographically to avoid wasting time in traffic)
- Estimated install duration (make sure installers have enough time to complete each job without running late)
- Installer availability (some techs have limited hours or planned days off)
- Customer lead time expectations (we promise installs within 3–4 weeks after ordering glass)
- Updating internal calendars and schedules
- Communicating with our operations manager and providing updates if anything needs to shift
- Spotting scheduling conflicts before they become problems

You Need to Be:
- Highly organized and able to think ahead
- Able to prioritize based on time, location, and job complexity
- Comfortable with Google Sheets and Google Calendar
- Good at geography – understanding how towns and cities relate to one another helps you build efficient routes
- A critical thinker – we are not looking for someone who just blindly plugs in appointments. You need to make good decisions.

Working Hours:
- Part-time (4-8 hours per week)
- You must be available during U.S. hours (Eastern Time) to coordinate with our team
