Graphics Design Team Manager for an NFL/NCAA/Sports Décor Company

Company Overview: We are a fast-growing company specializing in creating high-quality, licensed wall art, decor, and outdoor inflatables for NFL, NCAA, and other sports brands. Our business thrives on innovation, creativity and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Graphics Design Team Manager to help lead our graphics team and drive the creation of exceptional new/trendy/cool designs.
Position Overview: As the Graphics Design Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of graphic design production, including both creative concept development and technical execution. This role involves managing a team of creative designers and Photoshop/Illustrator editors while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring designs align with licensing guidelines and brand style guides.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of graphic designers and photo editors.
• Oversee the design of wall art, decor, and outdoor inflatables, ensuring designs meet licensing and brand requirements.
• Maintain and implement style guides, ensuring adherence to brand consistency for NFL, NCAA, and other sports leagues.
• Review and provide feedback on design work, keeping the team accountable for quality and deadlines.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, production) to ensure designs align with business objectives and product needs.
• Ensure that tea ---------- mbers work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality and productivity.
• Stay current with industry trends, design tools, and software.
• Identify the strengths of individual tea ---------- mbers and optimize project assignments accordingly.
• Be available for team calls and meetings during working hours (9am-5pm EST) to ensure communication and productivity.
Required Qualifications:
• Must have good English
• Proven experience in managing a creative team, preferably in a sports-related industry.
• Expertise in graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools.
• Experience working with style guides and licensing companies.
• Strong creative eye with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining a high level of organization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• A reliable internet connection and the ability to work remotely with flexibility in hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in designing for sports merchandise, wall art, or inflatables is a plus.
• Experience in working with NCAA, NFL, or other sports licensing agencies is highly desirable.
