Healthcare Instructor

Wheatland Health Academy is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Healthcare Instructor to support phlebotomy and EKG students in an online hybrid program. This role includes tutoring, academic tracking, and assisting students in preparing for their NHA certification exams. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the development of continuing education (CEU) content on a variety of healthcare topics.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group virtual tutoring for phlebotomy and EKG students.

Track student progress, provide academic support, and escalate concerns when students fall behind.

Monitor completion of assignments, online modules, and exam readiness (especially NHA certification prep).

Assist students in navigating the LMS (Learning Management System) and course structure.

Develop CEU course content (text-based) for topics such as infection control, patient safety, and clinical procedures.

Work closely with WHA’s Academic Coordinator to align instruction with program standards.

Deliver feedback on student performance in a timely and supportive manner.

Preferred Qualifications:
U.S. Registered Nurse (RN), allied health professional, or experienced healthcare educator

2+ years of teaching or tutoring in a healthcare-related field

Familiarity with NHA certification content (CPT and CET)

Experience creating continuing education or instructional materials

Comfortable with online education tools (Google Workspace, LMS platforms, Zoom)
