Job Summary
We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Property Management Accountants (PMAs) to join our team. These roles support U.S.-based property management clients and cover key accounting functions including revenue assurance, accounts support, AP & AR, and general property management accounting. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in real estate or property management accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Open Roles & Responsibilities
1. Revenue Assurance Coordinator
- Ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of rent payments
- Monitor rent rolls, delinquency reports, and lease agreements to detect discrepancies
- Coordinate with leasing and collections teams to resolve revenue-related issues
- Assist in the preparation of monthly revenue reports and forecasts
- Reconcile tenant ledgers and ensure alignment with accounting records
2. Accounts Support (General)
- Provide day-to-day support for accounting and finance-related tasks
- Assist with data entry, bank reconciliations, and report generation
- Maintain digital records and support monthly closing processes
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial procedures
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP & AR)
- Process vendor invoices and issue payments according to terms
- Track and manage accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain AP/AR ledgers and reconcile discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors, tenants, and internal teams to resolve payment issues
- Prepare aging reports and assist in collection efforts
4. General Property Management Accountant (PMA)
- Handle full-cycle property accounting for assigned portfolios
- Record and reconcile financial transactions including rents, fees, and expenses
- Generate monthly owner statements and financial reports
- Support budget preparation and year-end processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and client-specific guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a property management or real estate setting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience using property management accounting software such as Vantaca
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
