The Role:
Forget random ideas that look pretty but don't sell. We're looking for a sharp, data-driven Ecommerce Creative Strategist (full time) who understands that killer creative is the engine of profitable scaling. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and iterating on ad creatives (video & static) across platforms like Meta and TikTok, working closely with media buyers, editors, and creators to maximize conversions and crush performance targets. You live and breathe direct response principles and know how to turn one winning concept into twenty variations that print money.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data-Driven Creative Analysis: Dive deep into ad account metrics (Meta, TikTok, etc.) to understand what's working, what's not, and why. Spot trends, form hypotheses, and communicate insights clearly to media buyers.
• High-Impact Copywriting: Craft compelling hooks, angles, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversions. Master prompting AI tools for efficiency, but possess the skill to refine copy until it's razor-sharp.
• Iterative Concept Development: Take winning creative concepts and strategically develop numerous variations (different hooks, visuals, CTAs, angles) for rigorous testing. Every test must have a clear goal.
• Creative Production Oversight: Guide editors, videographers, and UGC creators to ensure final ad assets are not just aesthetically pleasing, but optimized for platform best practices and performance goals. Understand the difference between raw production and effective post-production.
• Trend Spotting & Application: Keep your finger on the pulse of e-commerce advertising trends, competitor strategies, and platform changes, translating insights into actionable creative tests.
• Collaborative Execution: Work seamlessly with media buyers, designers, editors, and potentially the operations team to ensure a smooth and efficient creative workflow from concept to launch.
Who We're Looking For:
• Data Mastery is Non-Negotiable: Proven experience analyzing ad performance data (ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, etc.) within ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager is essential). You must be comfortable talking numbers and deriving actionable insights.
• Direct Response Copywriting Chops: Ability to write clear, concise, high-impact ad copy that drives action. Experience refining AI-generated copy is a plus, but strong fundamental writing skill is key.
• Creativity That Converts: You don't just generate ideas; you understand how to systematically test and iterate on creative concepts to find winners and scale them effectively.
• Production & Post-Production Awareness: You understand the creative workflow and can provide clear direction to editors/creators to ensure the final output aligns with strategic goals and performance needs.
• Execution Mindset: Background demonstrating speed, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure (e.g., agency experience, high-growth DTC, performance marketing roles). Experience in fields requiring quick thinking (writing, comedy, even team sports) is valued.
• Big-Picture Thinker, Agile Executor: You see market trends but can rapidly pivot and adapt creative strategy based on real-time data and changing conditions.
• Accountable & Proactive: You take ownership of your work, meet deadlines consistently, and proactively identify opportunities or solve problems without needing hand-holding.
• Clear, Efficient Communicator: You can articulate creative strategy and feedback clearly and concisely via Slack,

• E-commerce Obsessed: You actively follow top e-commerce brands, performance marketers, ad breakdowns, and UGC trends to constantly sharpen your skills.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus/incentives tied directly to creative contribution towards advertising profitability.
