We’re on the lookout for a sharp, creative, and proactive Marketing Assistant (VA) that understands the world of HR Consulting, to join our growing team! If you love variety, have great attention to detail, and are a master at juggling tasks and smashing deadlines, this is the role for you.
About us:
The Save Group is a Melbourne-based HR consultancy supporting Australian small businesses to simplify their HR processes. From general HR management to recruitment, we provide fast and effective support to our clients. In this role you will report directly to the Founder/Director and you'll be the go-to support across the business, helping manage day-to-day admin, marketing & sales tasks, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Your Typical Month Would Look Like This:
· Provide general admin support to the team, including general filing, updating and filling out HR templates, reporting, and calendar management.
· Coordinating all things Marketing – social platform management, paid advert management, creating and sending EDM’s, brand collateral, arranging our monthly webinars, drafting our monthly newsletter, and website content improvement.
· Managing sales enquiries from potential clients, booking discovery calls, managing sales follow up
· Updating the website (WordPress)
· Managing our CRM (HubSpot) end to end while ensuring accurate data.
· Handling daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting: billable hours tracking, invoicing, general analytics.
· Attending our team Daily Huddle at 9:05am AEST
Please DO Apply If You:
· You have 3–5+ years of Marketing experience, ideally with a Marketing qualification or degree.
· You have experience in a sales role, where driving new sales and upselling current clients was important.
· You have experience and a strong understanding working for an overseas western company, ideally in the B2B professional services industry.
· HR experience is a huge bonus! But HR understanding of our industry and what we do, is a must!
· Are creative and can develop content that effectively reflects and enhances our brand identity.
· Are tech-savvy and confident using tools like WordPress, HubSpot, Canva, and AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot.
· Enjoy juggling multiple projects and smashing deadlines.
· You’re hard working and take initiative of your work.
· Have exceptional attention to detail and love ticking off to-do lists.
· Communicate fluently in written and verbal English.
· Are proactive, organised, and thrive on ownership and accountability.
· Want to grow in a small fast paced business and are looking for a long term career (5+ years)
· You will do whatever it takes, no job is too big or too small for you!
Please DO NOT Apply If You:
· Have less than 3 years of Marketing experience.
· Have never worked as a remote VA for a western overseas company in the B2B professional services industry.
· Can’t work during Melbourne core business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am- 5pm).
· Need constant supervision or lack initiative.
· You’re looking for a pay check, not a purpose.
· Are not confident designing in Canva, writing engaging brand content, managing social platforms, or CRMs.
· Struggle with written English or dislike writing digital marketing content.
· No nothing about the HR Consultancy and not interested in being involved in sales.
· Have no intention of submitting a video application (non-negotiable).
Qualifications (Or Similar Experience):
· Previous experience in a similar Marketing role, ideally for a an overseas B2B company.
· Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Strong design skills in Canva
· Experience with HubSpot (CRM), Harvest (Time tracking), WordPress (website) – highly regarded
· Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot – a big plus!
