Accountant/Bookkeeper

About Us:
We are a growing accounting and advisory firm specializing in healthcare clients, particularly dental practices in the United States. Our mission is to provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial services that help our clients thrive. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant or Bookkeeper to join our team and support our clients with top-notch financial care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and customize QuickBooks Online (QBO) for new clients
• Perform cleanup and catch-up work for clients with messy or outdated financials
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.)
• Utilize ---------- for accounts payable management
• Assist with payroll processing using various platforms
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal tea ---------- mbers regarding financial data, questions, and deadlines
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with ---------- and payroll platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
• Experience with dental or healthcare practices a plus, but not required
• QBO ProAdvisor certification is a bonus
Additional Notes:
• We are headquartered in the US Central Time Zone. While this is a remote role, flexibility and the ability to work independently and self-sufficiently for most of the day is essential.
• Availability for occasional meetings or check-ins during business hours will be expected.
