YouTube Video Editor (Specializing in Motion Graphics & Animated Elements)

We’re looking for a highly skilled editor to create YouTube videos for us for ongoing projects.

We are hoping you will be able to take our high-quality video footage and create captivating, dynamic videos from them.

Our target audience will be experienced entrepreneurs who are eager to learn new strategies to grow their business quickly. These are folks who consume a LOT of content and, as experienced marketers themselves, are a bit jaded.

We need to impress them with our content first (we’ll take care of that), but we need the video edit to help capture and keep their attention.

We are interested in seeing how you work!

In this video, the editor uses a number of strategies to keep viewers engaged.
These include:
- Highlighting impactful lines with text behind the presenter
- Graphics
- Quick cuts
- Slightly sped up pacing
- Crops and visual effects
- Well-chosen and high-quality b-roll clips

Note that while these are techniques used in this video, you are not limited to these technique - we want to see what you can do! The goal is to keep the video fast-paced and visually captivating.

Please note:
- Expertise in color grading Canon Log footage is a plus, though not strictly necessary (if this is a skillset you have, please let us know and we will provide an ungraded color clip for you to use for the demo)
- If we proceed with a contract beyond this exercise, we’ll provide you with additional footage to be used in visual elements (screencap, photos, specific b-roll, etc). For the purpose of the test, please show us what you can do without those additional resources
