Modern Law, a leading Arizona-based divorce and family law firm, is seeking a Podcast Editor to join the team behind our Modern Arizona Podcast. Our show dives into family law issues while also spotlighting newsworthy topics impacting families across the state. We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and deadline-driven to ensure our episodes are polished, professional, and ready to hit the airwaves on time.

???? Key Responsibilities:
Edit Podcast Recordings:
Use Riverside.fm to edit weekly video podcast episodes, including long-form video, audio, and short-form clips.

Quality Control:
Watch and review entire podcast episodes to ensure they are fully edited to standard (no glitches, cuts, or inaccuracies).

Transcriptions & Captions:
Review and clean up all captions and transcripts for accuracy (names, terminology, legal concepts, etc.).

Deadline Management:
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure all deliverables are completed and provided to the Social Media Manager on time.

Graphic Creation:
Use our existing Canva templates to create graphics for:
YouTube thumbnails
Social media clips
Episode promo posts

Audio Editing:
Edit audio files for Spotify to ensure professional-quality sound, error-free playback, and consistency across all episodes.

Support Tasks:
Assist with uploading content, writing descriptions, or other podcast-related tasks as needed.

Master of the Details: You love triple-checking things for accuracy, and typos don’t stand a chance with you.
Strong Sense of Responsibility: You’re known for never missing a deadline and holding yourself to high standards.
Podcast & Editing Experience: Comfort using tools like Riverside.fm, Canva, and podcast editing software is a must.
Team Player: You’re comfortable taking direction but also proactive in communicating needs and sharing ideas.
