High-Level Video Editor for 1-Day Social Content Turnaround

Location: Remote (must work on Eastern Time)

Rate: $500 total (will have bonus for on time work)

We’re a creative production team filming a high-energy food festival in New York City, and we’re looking for a fast, skilled, and experienced social media video editor to jump in and bring the footage to life—in real-time.

???? This is a Same-Day Edit Gig
We’ll be filming and uploading footage throughout the day, and you’ll need to start editing immediately as content comes in. We’re looking for someone comfortable with tight turnarounds who can deliver polished edits within 24 hours or less.

? Must-Haves:
- 5+ years editing short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts

- Strong sense of hooks, pacing, visual storytelling, and what grabs attention on social
- Fluent in visual effects, transitions, motion graphics, and audio balancing
- Fast, stable internet and a workstation ready to handle large media files
- Able to communicate directly and continuously with our on-site director throughout both days
- Fully available and laser-focused for the 2-day event
- Can take creative direction quickly and implement feedback on the fly
