JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and accounting, with expertise in QuickBooks and MS Office. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, managing contractor payments, and providing insightful financial analysis to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain the QuickBooks accounting system to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Review and verify accruals and payments to over 250 subcontractors weekly, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
Cross-check QuickBooks data with management reports to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Maintain detailed records of fixed assets, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare comprehensive reports that include:
Profit and Loss (P&L) statements by state, detailing manager expenses and other financial metrics.
Price comparisons by vendors across different states.
Analysis of rates and trends by state.
Comparison of subcontractor wages against project values and trends.
Graphic visualizations to illustrate financial data and trends effectively.

Requirements

Education: Higher specialized education in accounting or finance.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with financial reporting and analysis.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office.
Language Proficiency: English language skills at an upper-intermediate level or higher.
