JOB OVERVIEW

Koscom Cable Inc. is seeking a capable and responsible administrative professional to manage our company’s general administrative duties and to provide a variety of administrative and clerical support to our executives and management team while operating remotely. This role requires an experienced administrative individual who possesses strong virtual office skills required to ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and schedule meetings, appointments and events, ensuring all logistical aspects are covered.
Prepare meeting agendas and action items, along with written correspondence such as letters and reports.
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Maintain and organize digital filing systems for the company to facilitate easy access to documents.
Respond to emails and other digital queries and correspondence ensuring effective communication flow.
Input and update information in established databases and spreadsheets accurately.
Utilize word processing and presentation software to create, edit and format documents.
Conduct research as requested and compile and summarize information for reports.
Assist with the creation of content to post on the company’s social media platforms.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3+ Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
In-dept knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Excellent written and verbal communication for interacting with clients and staff.
Excellent in Time Management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Attention to details and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Proficient use of graphic design applications e.g. Canva.
Experience in using meeting scheduler application e.g. Calendly.
Knowledge of specific software relative to the administrative industry.
