Virtual Assistant and Marketing Specialist

Join our team! We’re Natural Edge Joinery, a family-owned joinery business based in Hawke’s Bay New Zealand, known for crafting sleek, modern kitchens and custom cabinetry.

We’re on the hunt for a proactive and friendly Virtual Assistant and a pro at Marketing to become a valued part of our small but passionate team and grow with us. If you're highly organised, creative, and confident working independently, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing our calendar and scheduling appointments
- Monitoring and tidying up emails
- Coming up with general marketing ideas and documents to help our business grow
- Coming up with creative and strategic social media post ideas and captions (we’ll provide photos & content direction for reels)
- Work within our project management system, called Tradify - creating new jobs and adding plans from our emails to the correct job
- Support with admin and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes
- Communication through Whatsapp

What we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication and written English
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- A love for systems, planning, and creative thinking
- Strong marketing skills
- Confidence using tools like Google Calendar, Outlook, Canva, or willing to learn quickly
- Bonus if you’ve worked with small businesses before!

Hours + Pay:
- Part-time, with flexible hours to suit (we’re happy to work around family/life commitments). Part time could eventually evolve into more hours over time.
- Competitive hourly rate, paid fortnightly.
