**Boss Components – Virtual Marketing & Sales Assistant (Remote, Long-Term Role)**

**About Us**
Boss Components is a South Australian mechanical-engineering and e-commerce business specialising in precision components for competition and Olympic shooters. We blend engineering expertise with modern marketing and savvy automation to fuel our B2B growth.

**The Role**
We’re seeking a proactive Virtual Assistant to drive our marketing, sales and content efforts. You’ll research leads, craft copy and campaigns, optimise our sales funnel and help streamline workflows. This is a long-term position, ideal for someone who thrives on measurable growth and creative problem-solving.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead Generation**
- Research, qualify and enrich prospect lists in HubSpot, Excel or SharePoint
- Conduct outreach calls and follow-up sequences, tracking conversion metrics
- Nurture prospects to secure qualified appointments
- **Content & Campaign Creation**
- Write blog posts, email sequences, social media captions and basic video scripts
- Coordinate with designers/video teams to turn scripts into polished assets
- Schedule and automate content delivery via marketing tools
- **Sales Funnel Optimisation & Reporting**
- Build dashboards in Excel or Power BI to monitor open rates, click-throughs and deal velocity
- Analyse performance and recommend A/B tests or workflow tweaks for higher ROI
- **Website & Shopify Content Management**
- Update product pages with SEO-optimised copy and metadata
- Coordinate simple A/B tests of landing pages, track results and iterate
- **CRM & Workflow Support**
- Manage HubSpot pipelines, ensuring data integrity and timely follow-ups
- Familiarity with AI content tools and workflow-automation platforms (e.g. n8n) is a plus

**What We’re Looking For**
- 2+ years’ experience in a marketing-focused VA, sales support or similar role
- Exceptional written and verbal English; creative flair for persuasive copy
- Strong commercial acumen and data-driven mindset—comfortable analysing KPIs
- Proficiency in HubSpot (or other CRM), Shopify admin and Microsoft 365
- Self-starter who flags issues early, iterates rapidly and seeks long-term growth

**Desirable Extras**
- Experience in B2B sales and cold calling
- Basic video-editing or graphic-design skills
- Understanding of mechanical engineering or e-commerce B2B sales cycles
