PRINCIPAL FUNCION OF THE POSITION:
Create, support, and maintain QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing & Wholesale 2016 Online company data. Understand the account and company setup steps and maintain a general knowledge of the major areas of the QuickBooks. Managing Processes, Financial Software, Developing Standards, Audit, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Tracking Budget Expenses, Financial Skills, Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, Performance Management
SPECIFIC FUNTIONS OF THE POSITION:
• Maintain the books of a fast growing design and manufacturing company and its two subsidiaries which includes reconciling all accounts, booking journal entries, and providing timely financial statements on a monthly basis.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, expense reports, cash control, payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations, issue wires, book journal entries, maintain general ledger, and prepare biweekly hourly reports for Payroll Company.
• Oversee and work in conjunction with bookkeepers in the accounts receivable and accounts payable function to ensure accuracy and timely management of all aging components including timely billings, cash receipts, payments to vendors, and funding reports.
• Work in conjunction with warehouse manager including performing physical inventory counts to ascertain proper recording of inventory.
• Prepare quarterly reports for management including cash flow forecast, variance analysis, sales projections, and or other special project reports.
• Work in conjunction with external independent CPA firm and provide financial statements, bank required reports, and information for income tax preparation.
• Create and maintain QuickBooks Online users, and set and maintain the appropriate access levels.
• Customize the company invoice form and other forms, such as sales receipts and estimates (Plus only) as needed.
• Serve as subject matter expert in QuickBooks modules (accounting, sales, inventory, and purchase).
• Learn from employee’s interactions to identify patterns and develop solutions.
• Customize and memorize reports per the necessity.
• Export periodic backups of the QuickBooks Online company data.
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.
• Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances; making investments.
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
• Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
• Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 6+ years in Bookkeeping & QuickBooks software support “QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Manufacturing and Wholesale 16.0”
• Advance proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
• Proficient in Excel, and Word
• Inventory costing and management. Ability to use spreadsheets, database
• Ability to learn quickly other IT programs
• Excellent knowledge of computers and the Internet.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of business and accounting terms such as profit, ROI, assets, liabilities.
• Ability and knack for working with numerical data
