Job Title: PURCHASING / PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT
Work Type: Full-Time - Remote
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing/Procurement Assistant to join our remote team. You'll play a key role in managing supplier relationships, ordering materials, and ensuring stock arrives on time to support our production and customer orders. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our operations and the satisfaction of our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Source and order raw materials, fabrics, and components from approved suppliers.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery timelines, and stock levels.
Liaise with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors where appropriate.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
Provide regular updates to the production and sales teams regarding stock availability.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally in manufacturing or home furnishings.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Proficiency with procurement or inventory management software.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.
Solid understanding of supply chain operations and vendor management.
Experience working with overseas suppliers is a plus.
