Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of freight brokerage operations, including negotiating rates, arranging shipments, and maintaining relationships with carriers and our shippers, clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and secure new shippers, clients by developing strong relationships and offering tailored transportation solutions
• Negotiate rates with carriers and shippers, clients to ensure profitability and competitive pricing
• Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and client interactions
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Freight Broker
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and carriers
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in freight management software and Microsoft Office applications
Education:
• Training in Logistics, or a related field preferred
• Relevant certifications or training in freight brokerage are a plus
