Job Description: Assistant/Marketing at Canyon State Insurance

Canyon State Insurance is seeking a skilled Assistant with Marketing experience to join our small insurance company. We're looking for a long-term tea ---------- mber to support our marketing efforts and assist with client communications! This position will involve creating marketing content, managing email campaigns, and supporting our Marketing Director, McKenzie, in promoting our insurance services.

Note, you MUST have at least 3 years of marketing experience AND experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar). Please DO NOT apply if you do not meet these requirements.

Here are some of the job responsibilities for this position:

A. Content Creation

-Design visually appealing graphics for bulk email campaigns to key partners using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
-Create engaging social media posts for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X to promote our services and brand.
-Assist in developing marketing collateral, such as flyers, brochures, or blog graphics.

B. Email Marketing

-Draft and schedule bulk email campaigns to key partners and clients using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar).
-Segment email lists and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act).
-Track email campaign performance and provide reports to the Marketing Director.

C. Social Media Management

-Schedule and publish social media posts according to the marketing calendar.
-Monitor engagement on social media platforms and respond to comments/messages as directed.
-Collaborate with McKenzie to develop social media strategies that increase brand awareness.

D. Administrative Support
-Assist McKenzie with organizing marketing campaigns, tracking project timelines, and coordinating with external vendors (e.g., printers, ad agencies).
-Manage marketing-related correspondence, including follow-ups with partners and clients.
-Maintain organized digital files for marketing assets and campaign data.

E. Client and Partner Engagement

-Support outreach efforts to key partners by drafting professional emails or preparing presentation materials.
-Assist in creating client-facing communications, such as newsletters or promotional offers.
-Provide general administrative support to ensure marketing initiatives run smoothly.
