We’re building a two-story rectangular structure (6m x 12m) using concrete masonry units (CMU), with:

No internal load-bearing walls
A large 16 ft wide garage door on the front (6m wall)
2 exterior doors
Roof and floor systems spanning 6 meters
Full vertical and lateral load support via reinforced CMU walls

We’re seeking a structural engineer.
Experience in masonry, reinforced concrete, and seismic/wind zone considerations is essential.

Perform detailed structural analysis for CMU load-bearing walls, floor, and roof systems
Design and specify rebar layout, bond beams, tie beams, and lintels
Design and specify foundation
Provide anchoring/tie-in details for roof and floor to CMU walls
Ensure design compliance with local code
Prepare structural drawings and calculation package
Coordinate with designer
