HIRING | Video Editor for an Automotive YouTube Channel!

We’re looking for a highly skilled and passionate video editor to join our team and take on two key roles:
- Editing high-quality POV car review videos for our YouTube channel
- Creating dynamic, eye-catching content for Instagram Reels & TikTok

If you have a strong eye for detail, a passion for cars, and expertise in video editing, we want to hear from you!

Job Details:

Commitment: ~30 hours per week
Platforms: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok
Team Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, social media managers, and editors
Key Traits: Precision, clear communication, organization, and meeting deadlines

Job Requirements:

1. Expert in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro
2. Strong skills in color correction & grading
3. Experience in Photoshop (for thumbnail creation)
4. Detail-oriented & highly organized
5. Trustworthy, reliable, and deadline-driven
6. Creative problem solver who can work independently
7. High-performance computer (capable of editing 4K footage)
8. Fast internet (for downloading/uploading large files)

Your Role & Workflow:

1. Receive raw footage & audio files (POV footage from a GoPro, iPhone B-roll, & DR10L audio)
2. Edit a polished, YouTube-ready first draft (color correction, transitions, text, B-roll)
3. Submit 3 thumbnail drafts with the first video draft
4. Revise based on feedback (typically only 1–2 rounds of edits)
5. Format videos for short-form content (cropping, captions, 60-sec edits for Instagram/TikTok)
6. Final versions get published by our team
