HIRING | Video Editor for the KJMD YouTube Channel

We’re looking for an experienced video editor for a long-term role with the Kevin Jubbal MD YouTube Channel!

You’ll work closely with me and our content team, editing high-quality YouTube videos that engage and educate our audience.

Position Details:
- 30 hours per week
- Remote, long-term opportunity
- Collaborate with a creative content team
- Edit engaging YouTube videos with high production value

What We’re Looking For:

- Detail-oriented & precise – Able to follow instructions carefully
- Reliable & accountable – Say what you’ll do and do what you say
- Resourceful & proactive – Solve problems independently
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong color correction & grading skills
- Experience with Photoshop (for creating thumbnails)
- Fast computer (capable of editing 4K footage)
- High-speed internet (for downloading & uploading large files)

Your Role & Workflow:

1. Receive video & audio files (KJMD films in a studio with 4K cameras + B-roll)
2. Edit a polished, YouTube-ready first draft (including transitions, text, B-roll, color grading)
3. Submit 3 thumbnail drafts along with the first video draft
4. Incorporate feedback (typically only 1–2 rounds of revisions)
5. Final version gets uploaded by our team
