Phone-Based Appointment Setter (Remote – The DL Marketing Team)

The DL is a fast-growing local marketing company based in Metro Detroit, Michigan. We help small businesses grow by placing their brand directly into the hands of local customers through weekly flyer drops in high-traffic locations like salons, restaurants, waiting rooms, and coffee shops.

We’re NOT a digital ad agency. We’re a grassroots, boots-on-the-ground marketing machine — and we’re looking for a dedicated appointment setter to join our remote team.

Your Role
This is a phone-only position.

Your job is to:

Make outbound calls to small business owners (we provide the leads)

Follow a proven script to introduce The DL

Qualify the lead and set up a clean, confirmed sales appointment

Input details into our CRM ( ---------- )

Update appointment status and communicate directly with the manager via phone or ----------

You won’t be doing any closing or selling — just setting appointments for our U.S.-based sales closers.

IMPORTANT: We’re not looking for volume — we’re looking for precision.
Your job isn’t to fill the calendar.
Your job is to fill it with people who show up and say yes.

Responsibilities
Make outbound calls during U.S. business hours (EST preferred)

Follow a proven script to introduce The DL and schedule sales calls

Confirm business name, category, and key contact info

Set quality appointments that show up and are ready to hear our offer

Log all call activity and notes in ----------

Communicate daily with our internal team via ---------- and phone

Requirements
Excellent spoken English — clear, confident, and natural

Experience in appointment setting or outbound calling (BPO/sales VA is a plus)

Comfortable making dozens of outbound calls per shift

Organized, accountable, and consistent with follow-up

Familiar with CRM tools, Google Workspace, and Slack (a plus)

Reliable internet, quality headset, and quiet workspace

Able to work U.S. business hours (EST)

Compensation
Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)

Performance-based bonus for every sale closed from an appointment you set:

$10 per closed sale (can increase based on performance)

Weekly payment via Payoneer

Full bonus structure explained during onboarding

Long-term role for the right person
