About the Role:
We’re looking for a results-driven Virtual Assistant (VA) with proven expertise in optimizing and ranking Google Business Profiles (formerly Google My Business) to the top local search results. This is a performance-focused role that demands both technical know-how and local SEO strategy experience. If you have a history of ranking local businesses on Google Maps and increasing their visibility and lead generation — we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Fully optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP) for multiple local businesses

Implement best practices for local SEO and GBP ranking, including:

Optimized business descriptions, categories, and services

Geo-tagged and branded photo uploads

Regular posting on the GBP feed

Management of Q&A and customer reviews

Citation and directory submission strategies

Conduct audits and track GBP performance metrics

Monitor local search algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly

Use tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, or other local SEO trackers (preferred)

Collaborate on local backlink building strategies if needed

Provide regular reports on progress, rankings, and visibility improvements

Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Business Profile optimization

Proven track record of ranking GBP listings in top 3 (Map Pack) for competitive local keywords

Strong understanding of local SEO, citation management, and NAP consistency

Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, GBP Insights, BrightLocal, etc.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple profiles at once

Excellent written communication and organizational skills

Bonus: Experience with local schema markup and review generation strategies
