???? About the Role
We’re launching a new, high-concept YouTube channel focused on thought-provoking, narrative-driven content exploring modern society—think Jake Tran meets RealLifeLore. Alongside this, we’re ramping up engaging, performance-focused Facebook video ad campaigns.

We're looking for a Hybrid Video Editor who can bring cinematic flair and storytelling chops to long-form YouTube content while also being sharp and strategic with fast-paced, conversion-driven Facebook video ads.

???? Responsibilities
YouTube Editing

Edit 8–12 minute documentary-style videos (with voiceover, stock footage, motion graphics, B-roll)

Build tension, drama, and narrative flow using music, pacing, and visual storytelling

Use dynamic animations, infographics, and slick transitions to elevate storytelling

Take raw scripts and voiceovers and transform them into binge-worthy content


Facebook Ad Editing

Edit direct-response, hook-driven Facebook video ads that convert

Work with performance marketers to iterate on ad variations quickly

Format exports for different placements (Stories, Reels, Feed)

Optimize visual cues, captions, and cuts for attention retention

? Requirements
Proven experience editing for YouTube channels or Facebook ads (portfolio required)

Strong command of Premiere Pro, After Effects, and motion design

Ability to edit quickly without sacrificing quality

Understanding of pacing, retention, and hook strategies for social media

Solid grasp of internet culture, trends, and ---------- fluency

Bonus: Familiarity with storytelling formats like Jake Tran, RealLifeLore, ColdFusion, etc.

Experience with voiceover integration and audio mixing

Storyboarding skills or creative input in ideation

Familiarity with tools like Descript or Runway AI
