Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Government Bids & Procurement Representative to join our team. This role involves actively monitoring and responding to government procurement postings, building strong relationships with procurement officers and agency contacts, and supporting bid submissions and contract processes. You’ll be the frontline representative for cities, counties, state departments, and military buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
Regularly search for and monitor government procurement and bid opportunities (local, state, federal, military).
Review bid solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, and contract opportunities to determine company fit.
Communicate with purchasing departments, procurement officers, and government contacts to clarify requirements and build relationships.
Coordinate and assist in the preparation and submission of bid responses.
Track bid progress, deadlines, and follow-up communications.
Maintain organized records of all bid activity, awarded contracts, and agency contacts.
Serve as a knowledgeable and responsive customer service representative for government agencies.
Collaborate with internal departments (sales, logistics, compliance) to ensure successful bid execution and product fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities.
Proficient in using procurement platforms (e.g.,
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Communication Tools: Work via Zoom and Slack with a remote team; stay on Zoom throughout work hours for collaboration and support.
Work Schedule:
Hours: TBD Monday to Friday (Arizona time).
This corresponds to night shifts in the Philippines.
