JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:
The Social Media Strategist will design and execute social media marketing strategies that align with the overall marketing and business goals. This role involves analyzing current social media trends, creating engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and evaluating their effectiveness in promoting brand awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:
- Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct competitive analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities within the industry.

Content Creation:
- Develop and curate engaging content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, tailored for various social media platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and other tea ---------- mbers to produce high-quality content.

Community Management:
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering community engagement.
- Monitor social media platforms for brand mentions and relevant conversations to engage with users effectively.

Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising efforts, promotions, and strategic initiatives to drive traffic and engagement.
- Coordinate with other marketing channels to ensure a cohesive brand message across all platforms.

Analytics and Reporting:
- Measure and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations based on data.
- Prepare regular reports on social media metrics and campaign effectiveness for stakeholders.

Trends and Best Practices:
- Stay current on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to continually improve social media engagement and performance.
- Experiment with new formats and techniques to increase reach and engagement.

Experience:
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and analytically.

Personal Attributes:
- Strong understanding of brand personality and voice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
