ROLE

If so, you might be the Marketing & Sales Automation Specialist we're looking for.
In this functional, do-er role, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on execution of our marketing tech and automation needs. You’ll report to the Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure smooth technical implementation across campaigns, funnels, and backend systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
General Organization and Impact
Conducts routine system audits
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by A/B testing, evaluating the projected outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements.
Configures and troubleshoots issues in the automation systems and instrumentation.
Manages and organizes data across the company's tech stack.
Builds technical setup for new products, launches, and joint venture opportunities.
Thinks creatively and develops new solutions
Funnel Tech
Manages the technology and funnels for all Rainmakers activities.
Sets up tracking for KPIs on funnels and creates automations to report on those KPIs.
Solves technical issues across webpages, checkouts, campaigns, and subscriptions; manages all integrations and automations required for launches.
Automation
Maintains and updates the automation sequences & Campaigns in CRM (Active Campaign,
Defines and documents the functional and technical requirements for executing automated campaigns.
Improves the functionality of our CRM Tech Stack to create engaging experiences for our customers, and easy to execute processes for our internal team
Reporting
Reports to the Marketing Manager
Demonstrates ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
Creates new systems and automates existing systems to maximize efficiency
Performs technical reviews of our products and offers suggestions for improvement
Reads and interprets technical data with proficiency using tools such as Zapier & Google Suite

Ensure all funnels (lead gen, webinar, sales pages, checkout, upsells, etc.) are live, error-free, and load within 2 seconds across devices.
10% Plus Improvement in Funnel Conversion Rates Per Quarter
Collaborate with the marketing team to A/B test and iterate funnel steps with the goal of consistently improving opt-in and sales conversion rates.
Daily Funnel Health Checks & Error Resolution Within 12 Hours
Maintain a daily diagnostic system for funnel errors or Zap/integration issues with same-day fixes or documented escalation.

Track and respond to all automation errors within 24 hours with root-cause analysis and fixes documented.

Maintain a clean CRM environment and run de-duplication and tagging audits bi-weekly.
4. Launch & Campaign Execution
100% On-Time Launch Execution
All technical components for launches (campaigns, CRM flows, checkout builds, product setup, integrations) completed 48 hours before internal deadlines.
Zero Critical Errors During Launches
Pre-launch testing
Post-Launch Debriefs Within 3 Business Days
Deliver post-mortem automation performance reports and suggest improvements.
5. Lead Handling & Sales Enablement
Lead Response Automation Time Under 10 Minutes
Ensure all new inbound leads receive immediate automated follow-up and are properly routed in CRM within 10 minutes.
Monthly Lead Source Attribution Reports
Include UTMs, traffic source breakdown, and campaign ROI insights to inform future spend and strategy.
Sales Team Tech Support SLA 24 Hours or Less
Resolve all sales team tech support requests such as CRM glitches, missing contacts, and tagging issues within one business day.
6. Documentation & Innovation
Maintain 100% Updated SOPs for All Major Automation Processes
Every system created or modified is documented within 48 hours.
Quarterly Innovation Proposal
Suggest at least one new tech or automation initiative per quarter that would save time, improve conversion, or create a better customer experience.

AGREEMENT TERMS
Required working hours are Monday- Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm PST with a one hour lunch break
Use Clockify to effectively track hours and bandwidth

Compensation: $15USD/hour
