Code for a Startup: Build an AI-Powered Mobile App!

Are you a computer science student or recent graduate eager to join a startup and shape a real product? We’re a small US-based startup building an AI-powered mobile app for active, social users. We need a part-time Mobile App Developer (frontend or backend) to code with AI assistance, deliver daily progress, and help us launch a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in 6 months. This is your chance to grow into a full-time tech partner with a bold new venture!

What You’ll Do
You’ll work 10–15 hours/week (~3–4 hours/day), using AI tools like Claude (team account provided) to code efficiently, always verifying outputs. Expect to follow Test-Driven Development (TDD), submit daily pull requests (PRs) via GitHub, and write daily progress reports (tasks, blockers, AI usage).

• Frontend Role:
- Build sleek UI with Flutter/Dart and Riverpod for state management.
- Create reusable components for iOS/Android.
- Integrate AI features and payment flows.

• Backend Role:
- Develop APIs with FastAPI (Python) and PostgreSQL.
- Use Redis for caching, TensorFlow for AI, AWS/Docker for deployment, and Sentry for monitoring.

No need to know it all! Confidence in at least two of these (e.g., Flutter or FastAPI) is enough—you’ll learn the rest with our support.

Who We’re Looking For
• Education: Pursuing or recently completed a BS in Computer Science, Informatics, or similar.
• Experience: Some project experience (school, hackathons, personal apps) with at least two of: Flutter/Dart, Riverpod, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, TensorFlow, AWS/Docker, REST APIs, or mobile testing.
• Skills: Fluent English, eager to learn, comfortable with AI tools and TDD, and detail-oriented.
• Mindset: Excited about startups, committed to daily communication (PRs/reports), and ready to grow into a full-time role.

Application Process
1. Apply with:

- Backend: Create a FastAPI/PostgreSQL REST API for a simple resource (e.g., task with ID, title, status), including CRUD operations and unit tests.
- Submit via GitHub with a brief explanation.

3. If selected, join our team and start coding!

Compensation & Growth
• Pay: $50/week via ---------- (~$1,300 over 6 months).
• Bonuses: Up to $500 total ($20 for small milestones, $40 for major ones).
• Total: ~$1,800 for 6 months part-time.
