TECHNICAL SEO EXPERT WANTED – REAL RESULTS ONLY. NO SPAM. NO SHORTCUTS.

I’m looking for a highly experienced technical SEO specialist – an individual, not an agency – to help drive organic growth across two websites:

DCS.video – a corporate video production company in Canberra

---------- – an Australian luxury jewellery consultancy

You’ll start with 12 hours per week across both sites, with a 1-month paid trial. If it goes well, we’ll expand into 30–40 hours/week across more sites and clients in my network.

What You’ll Be Doing

Full technical SEO audits (including Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, indexation issues, broken links, and speed optimisation)
On-site SEO fixes – meta tags, image alt text, internal linking, site structure, schema markup, and more
Strategic keyword research and content clustering (you might know this as a “topic cluster” or content hub strategy)
Competitor SEO analysis – what they’re ranking for, where they’re getting links, and how we can do it better
High-authority white-hat backlinks only – zero spam, only quality links from reputable sources
Collaboration with our SEO content writer – recommend which pages, articles, and keywords to target, and help shape a content roadmap
Suggestions on video content that can help support SEO and feed into our YouTube channel
Monthly reporting – simple, clear, and data-driven insights

What You Need to Have

5+ years of hands-on SEO experience
Proven results from past projects (please include links and summaries)
Deep understanding of technical SEO tools like:
Google Search Console & Analytics
Ahrefs / SEMrush / Screaming Frog
SurferSEO / Frase / Clearscope (or your preference)
Rank tracking + backlink auditing tools
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Detail-obsessed and data-driven – no fluff, just impact
Confident working independently and taking initiative
Ability to explain what you’re doing in plain English – I’m not an SEO expert, but I know results when I see them

Bonus Points If You Can:

Suggest a content cluster strategy to dominate a niche keyword
Recommend video titles or content to support ranking
Guide overall SEO growth strategy, not just tick boxes
