JOB OVERVIEW

Are you an experienced video editor looking to level up your career in eCommerce, direct response ads, and UGC mashup content?

We’re looking for skilled editors who already know the basics and want to apply their expertise to high-performance ad creatives. The kind that get clicks, drive sales, and keep people coming back.

This role is for someone who understands the WHY behind the edit, not just making things look nice, but creating edits that convert = sales.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
-Experienced editors who’ve worked on:
TikTok or Reels content
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads
UGC-style or mashup ads
-Direct response ads focused on performance
-Editors who can research competitors, analyze winning styles, and replicate them for new products
-Editors with a growth mindset who want to scale into strategy + creative ownership over time

WHAT YOU’LL DO
-Dig into competitor ads: Find what works by researching on Ad Library, TikTok, etc.
-Identify winning angles, hooks, and styles
-Create ad variations: multiple hooks, CTAs, lengths, testing formats
-Apply proven direct response structures (hook ? problem ? solution ? CTA)
-Edit for performance, not just polish. Raw, real UGC that feels authentic and converts
-Focus on beauty, skincare, health, and wellness products

BONUS IF YOU HAVE
-Worked with dropshipping or branded eCommerce brands
-Know “ugly ad” style (raw, fast-moving edits, not overproduced)
-Understand analytics: how to test, learn, and improve ad creatives
-Used AI tools in your editing process:
? ChatGPT (scripts/hooks/captions)
? ElevenLabs (voiceovers)
? CapCut (for video assembly)

MUST-HAVE QUALITIES
-Solid experience editing UGC and direct response ads
-Strong storytelling sense: how to hook viewers and keep them watching
-Ability to optimize for sales + clicks, not just aesthetics
-Willingness to do competitor research + creative analysis
-Fast, reliable internet + solid project delivery habits

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR APPLICATION
