Project Manager with Full Stack Background

Overview:
We’re seeking a sharp, proactive part-time Project Manager with a full-stack development background to lead two technical projects involving the migration of our existing WordPress platforms to Directus (headless CMS) with a Next.js frontend. You’ll work closely with two developers (already in place) and help us ensure that timelines, scope, quality, and communication stay on track.


About Us:
Reliability Academy delivers online training to maintenance professionals around the globe. We’re in the process of re-platforming two major sites to future-proof our digital presence:

(1) Marketing Site Migration – WordPress ? Directus CMS + Next.js (in progress)

(2) Learning Management Portal Migration – WordPress (LearnDash, BuddyBoss, MemberPress, etc.) ? Custom Directus-based LMS (to follow)


Your Role
We need someone to take over project coordination duties and act as a technical bridge between stakeholders and developers. Your job will be to:

- Own the project roadmap & timeline – keep tasks moving across both projects

- Challenge developers technically – provide oversight and support (especially around Directus, APIs, deployment, etc.)

- Coordinate & communicate – act as the day-to-day contact for progress updates, roadblocks, testing, and documentation

- Review deliverables – ensure functional requirements are met across performance, UX, SEO, data migration, and integrations

- Track success metrics – help ensure we hit performance, SEO, and UX benchmarks

- Support rollout & QA – ensure successful deployment, testing, and post-launch stability


What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Tech Lead (preferably in headless CMS environments)

- Solid understanding of Directus, Next.js, API integration, and content migration workflows

- Ability to speak developer fluently (you’ve written code, debugged APIs, or deployed stacks before)

- Familiarity with HubSpot, SEO, GDPR compliance, and gated content workflows is a plus

- Comfortable managing agile-style workflows across multiple sprints/phases

- Clear communicator, proactive problem-solver, and low-ego collaborator

- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
- Learning Portal includes custom LMS, multilingual content, HubSpot automation, certificates, private groups, and possibly AVETMISS compliance in future


Time Commitment & Duration
- Part-time, approx. 5-10 hrs/week to start (more in 2nd project, up to 20 hrs per week)
- Duration: 1 month for first project, 3-6 months for 2nd project
- Flexible schedule, async-friendly (we work across multiple time zones)

Phase 1 (Live): Marketing site migration (in progress) – your immediate focus

Phase 2 (Upcoming): LMS portal migration – expected to kick off after Phase 1 completes
