JOB OVERVIEW

Primary responsibilities include:

- Responding to customer inquiries in Japanese
- Handling refunds and managing disputes in Japanese
- Assisting with order tracking and order edits
- Communicating with suppliers for refunds and exchanges
- Using Shopify to process refunds and edit orders
- Speaking with suppliers in English to manage refund/exchange-related issues

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in both Japanese and English. AI tools will not compensate for language barriers.
- General customer support experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Shopify knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Access to Gmail, Shopify, and WhatsApp group would be helpful but not essential (We’re not currently using Zendesk, but we’re open to integrating it if needed.)

Working Hours & Availability:

- Estimated workload: 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday (possibility of weekends)
- Candidate should be available around Japanese time zone, but flexibility is allowed
- If performance is good, this role may transition into full-time

Additional Notes:

- All onboarding materials and order-related instructions will be provided
- Time tracking is done through logs on our shared Notion page
