About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Mortgage Fulfillment Specialist to manage the entire mortgage process from intake to closing. This is a full-cycle role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and understands the nuances of mortgage underwriting, documentation, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for mortgage files from submission to closing
Collect, review, and organize all necessary documentation from clients (income, assets, credit, etc.)
Perform preliminary underwriting analysis to ensure file completeness and lender-readiness
Organize file details on to our Filogix expert web based program
Submit mortgage applications to lenders and follow up for updates and conditions
Communicate clearly with clients, realtors, lawyers, and lenders throughout the process
Track and manage timelines to ensure smooth and timely closings
Update CRM systems with all file notes and documentation
Proactively identify issues that could delay approval and work on solutions
Assist with ordering appraisals, reviewing commitment letters, and satisfying lender conditions
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting support, or a similar role
Strong understanding of Canadian mortgage documentation and lender requirements
Familiarity with mortgage CRM platforms (e.g., Filogix and GoHighLevel is a bonus)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Bonus: Previous experience working with brokers or alternative/private lenders
