Video Editor

Hello! I’m Marlon, the founder of Creatives Method, a video marketing agency specializing in building personal brands and creating monetizable info products for our clients with established audiences. We work with driven creators and entrepreneurs who want to turn their expertise into impactful, profitable content.

We’re searching for a dedicated Video Editor to join our team long-term and grow with us. In this role, you’ll work directly with me to craft engaging video content that resonates with our clients' audiences. You’ll be instrumental in bringing stories to life through your editing skills, using industry-standard NLEs like Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Creative Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that align with our clients' brands and messages.
- Post-Production Management: Handle color grading, sound design, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
- Collaboration with Team: Work closely with our creative team to ensure visual content aligns with overall project goals.
- Organizational Skills: Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, software updates, and industry best practices.

Who You Are:

- Experienced Video Editor: You have substantial experience using Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Passionate Creator: Editing isn’t just a job for you; it’s something you love doing.
- Organized Professional: You keep your projects and files well-organized for efficient workflow.
- Active Online Presence: You’re familiar with platforms like Instagram and YouTube, either as a creator or an avid user.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and strive for perfection in your work.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and or DaVinci Resolve.
- At least 2 years of experience in video editing or a similar role.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Reliable internet connection and the ability to work remotely.
