JOB OVERVIEW

Overview:
We are a fast-growing beauty brand on the shelves at a major national retailer, and we’re seeking a senior-level e-commerce and digital growth expert to help us scale across Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and ---------- platforms (like ---------- ).

This role is hands-on. We’re looking for someone with proven experience driving sales, profitability, and digital strategy execution—ideally for DTC brands or in beauty, wellness, or CPG spaces.

???? Ownership, Optimization & End-to-End Accountability

This is not a basic executional role. You will be the Head of E-Commerce and are expected to drive the full lifecycle of digital growth—from strategy to optimization to reporting.

You will be responsible for:
• Developing and owning the digital growth strategy for Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and ---------- .
• Monitoring inventory levels and 3PL (third-party logistics) performance to ensure products are in stock and shipping timelines are met across platforms.
• Tracking SKU-level data and fulfillment fees; collaborating with overseas warehouses, 3PLs, and internal ops partners.
• Leading customer service and ensuring timely resolution of order-related inquiries across digital channels.
• Executing and optimizing conversion rate strategies—A/B testing landing pages, product pages, collections, and promotions to drive repeat purchases and increase LTV.
• Overseeing weekly and monthly reporting on performance metrics across all channels (Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify).
• Taking full accountability for e-commerce performance, including traffic, sales, conversion, margin, and retention.
• Managing the budget across digital channels (ads, SEO, agencies), making adjustments based on ROI and business priorities.
• Being the point of contact across functional teams (CEO, brand, product, ops, finance) and external partners (agencies, consultants, vendors).

We’re looking for someone who understands how all the pieces fit together—and is ready to step into a leadership role with both strategic vision and operational rigor.

???? Scope of Work:

1. Amazon (FBA) Management — Own This Channel
• Set up or overhaul Amazon US store (brand registry, A+ content, listings, ads, FBA logistics)
• Own product listing creation, keyword optimization, pricing, replenishment forecasts
• Oversee Amazon ad performance and manage ad budgets efficiently (profitability first!)
• Track performance metrics, create dashboards, and recommend strategic optimizations

2. TikTok Shop — Launch + Scale
• Supervise TikTok Shop partner agency, ensuring results and accountability
• Optimize listings, inventory flows, and performance based on TikTok’s algorithm
• Analyze ROI from campaigns, oversee influencer or affiliate traffic to TikTok Shop
• Bonus: Experience driving $1M+ sales on TikTok Shop is a huge plus

3. Shopify (Front + Back End)
• Oversee performance and conversion of our DIY Shopify store
• Run A/B tests, CRO strategies, homepage updates, SEO updates, and email integrations
• Manage Klaviyo email flows and optimize for retention (CLV, MoM purchases)
• Maintain and update website assets to match brand voice and promotional calendar

4. Digital Advertising (Performance Marketing)
• Run or oversee Meta, TikTok, Google paid ads with strong ROI discipline
• Report on campaign performance, acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value
• Partner with our CBO and creative team to align ads with brand storytelling

5. ---------- & Digital Shelf Management ( ---------- , etc.)
• Experience with ---------- platforms like Walmart, Target, or similar
• Monitor product visibility, ranking, and digital shelf performance
• Bonus: Familiarity with Profitero, Stackline, Edge, DataWeave, or similar tools

???? You Might Be a Fit If You:
• Have launched or managed 360 e-commerce strategy for a DTC brand or digital-first retailer
• Are highly experienced in Amazon FBA, Shopify backend, and TikTok Shop
• Have a scrappy, get-it-done attitude—you’re resourceful and ROI-focused
• Thrive in fast-moving environments with few layers of approval
• Know how to work with agencies and keep them accountable without micromanaging
• Are comfortable working across time zones (PST and CET overlap)

We’re open to global candidates, but need overlap with both CET (Europe) and PST (California) hours.

???? Job Type:
• Contract, with opportunity to scale to full-time or retainer if successful after 60 days
• 35-40 hours/week depending on scope and skill fit
