Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Video Editor with a creative eye and technical expertise to produce high-quality video content for our podcast, social media channels, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate can transform raw footage into engaging stories that align with our brand mission.

Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce video content for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
Create podcast video highlights and promotional clips
Develop engaging intro/outro sequences and motion graphics
Optimize videos for different social media platforms
Collaborate with our team to implement creative direction
Maintain consistent brand style across all video content
Manage audio quality, including dialogue enhancement and music integration
Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements
3+ years of professional video editing experience
Native or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills
Proven track record of creating engaging short-form content
Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and storytelling through video
Experience with multi-camera setups and interview-style content
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Portfolio that demonstrates strong video editing capabilities
Technical Skills
Expert proficiency in video editing software (Opus Pro, Descript, CapCut)
Experience with audio editing and enhancement
Familiarity with AI tools (Claude AI, ChatGPT) for content enhancement
Knowledge of Canva for graphic elements and thumbnails
Understanding of compression and export settings for various platforms
Capability to create captivating thumbnails and video graphics

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field
Experience working with faith-based content or cultural commentary
Knowledge of podcast production workflows
Understanding of YouTube algorithm and optimization strategies
Experience with livestream production
