Senior Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Accountant to join our team. As our Senior accounting specialist, you will bring your assistance in managing the bookkeeping and accounting needs of both our clients and Heavnn. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping, a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with various accounting software, and the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage the bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Setup and configure appropriate accounting software based on each client's needs.
- Establish and maintain bank connections within the accounting software.
- Setup invoice generation systems and processes for clients.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Generate monthly financial reports and statements for clients.
- Assist clients with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to clients, helping them make informed business decisions.
- Coordinate with our support and customer success team to ensure that we are proactive on the potential needs of our clients.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably with experience in managing multiple clients.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Excellent proficiency with Xero would be a plus.
- Experience in setting up accounting software, establishing bank connections, and configuring invoice generation systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
- Familiarity with international tax laws and regulations is a plus.
