Expert YouTube Script Writer

Are you the rare talent who can create YouTube scripts that captivate AND convert?

We're a growing marketing agency seeking an exceptional YouTube script writer who understands the art and science of direct response copywriting. While many claim these skills, we're looking for someone who can truly demonstrate them.

The Role

As our YouTube Script Writer, you'll:

1. Create engaging scripts for various client niches (they will likely read these from a teleprompter)
2. Craft hooks and make videos so interesting that keep readers watching the video for AS LONG AS POSSIBLE
3. Write persuasive calls-to-action that drive measurable results
4. Communicate client content clearly in scripts to target viewers (using metaphors, illustrations, examples, and exceptionally clear language)
5. Collaborate with our team to refine and optimize scripts

Requirements

- 3+ years of copywriting or YouTube script writing experience (we want people who have an eye for copy and can write well...if you can, these requirements aren't as important).
- Proven track record of YouTube scripts that have gotten high view counts and engagement
- Strong understanding of persuasive psychology and copywriting principles
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to adapt tone and style to different client voices and industries
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Willingness to attend a biweekly Zoom video call during American work hours
- Must be available for at minimum 3 hours during American work hours

3. You understand how to create emotional connections through words
4. You're constantly analyzing successful YouTube videos to improve your skills
5. You've worked with clients who've seen measurable results from your scripts
6. You can write YouTube scripts that deliver value to viewers and keep them watching
7. You ALWAYS do what you say you will do. You meet your deadlines and proactively communicate with your team lead when deadlines are in jeopardy. If you don't communicate well, you won't last here.

Application Requirements (ALL REQUIRED):

1. Submit 2-3 samples of your BEST YouTube scripts that demonstrate direct response principles (Please include metrics/results if available)
2. Write a 60-second hook for a fictional lawn care service targeting homeowners (This should demonstrate your ability to grab attention quickly)
3. Record a 1-2 minute voice message explaining your approach to writing converting YouTube scripts
