About the Role:
We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for enhancing and repurposing video content for a dynamic business coaching company. Your creative work will help expand the brand’s reach across social media, online courses, webinars, and various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Edit and enhance video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn,
Cut, trim, and apply transitions, subtitles, captions, graphics, and effects to increase engagement
Repurpose long-form video content into short, attention-grabbing social media clips
Ensure videos maintain brand consistency in style, tone, and messaging
Optimize videos for various platforms, including aspect ratios and formats
Source and integrate stock footage, music, and sound effects when needed
Organize and manage video files efficiently
Collaborate with the content team to craft compelling visual stories
Implement feedback effectively and ensure timely project delivery
Stay current with video editing trends and social media best practices
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor, ideally in a remote/virtual capacity
Proficiency in editing software: Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Riverside, and Canva
Strong skills in creating engaging content aligned with social media trends
Knowledge of social media platform-specific video optimization
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Strong communication and remote collaboration skills

Motion Graphics experience would be an advantage (Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion)
Reliable internet connection and access to necessary editing tools
Note: You must have devices capable of running editing software and storing large video files
Bonus Points:
Possession of an existing library of audio, animation, and visual assets which can be used for the various videos
Experience with motion graphics and basic animation
Preferred Qualifications:
Video editing qualification
Experience working with business coaches, consultants, or personal brands
Familiarity with AI tools for content editing and automation
Understanding of SEO best practices for video content, including YouTube metadata optimization
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator)
