Our manufacturing operations are based in Vietnam and e-commerce business is based in USA. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive International Sourcing and Logistics VA to oversee and optimize our import/export operations across all product categories.

Job Overview
The International Sourcing and Logistics VA will be responsible for coordinating all global sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, negotiating with freight forwarders, and ensuring the smooth and timely flow of goods from international suppliers (mainly China to Vietnam) to our distribution centers and customers (primarily in the U.S.). This role is critical to our supply chain and requires exceptional planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Management
• Identify, vet, and manage relationships with overseas suppliers and manufacturers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Monitor production timelines and quality assurance in coordination with suppliers.
• Ensure ethical and sustainable sourcing practices are followed.
Logistics & Freight Forwarding
• Oversee all import/export documentation (B/Ls, commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, etc.).
• Coordinate international shipping via ocean, air, and courier (LCL, FCL, FOB, CIF, EXW).
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal teams.
• Manage duties, tariffs, customs clearance, and HS code classification.
Inventory & Cost Optimization
• Work with finance and warehouse teams to forecast shipments and avoid stockouts or overstock.
• Analyze landed cost per SKU and work to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Maintain records of freight and sourcing spend and help identify areas for savings.
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure full compliance with import/export laws and regulations in the U.S. and other relevant markets.
• Stay updated on changes in trade policy, tariff schedules, and logistics regulations.
• Proactively manage risk in international operations and provide solutions for supply chain disruptions.

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in international sourcing, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers (Asia preferred, especially Vietnam/China/USA).
• Familiarity with Incoterms, international freight, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, shipping software, and inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
• Background in consumer products, print manufacturing, packaging, or logistics.
• Experience with Shopify, Amazon FBA, and/or B2B wholesale fulfillment.
• Experience in working across time zones and multicultural environments.
