We’re looking for a high-performing Staff Bookkeeper who not only excels in bookkeeping but also sets the bar for accuracy and hard work. As a Staff Bookkeeper, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our clients’s records. Aside from basic bookkeeping tasks, you’ll lead by example, help train new tea ---------- mbers, and implement solutions to streamline processes. You’ll also handle advanced bookkeeping tasks, assist with budgeting and financial analysis, and contribute to the professional growth of the team.

Position Details:
- Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week (6am-2pm CST)
- Pay:
- $4/hr
- Potential increases based on performance and results.
- Reports to: CEO

Key Responsibilities:
- Categorize and record financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, lines of credit, mortgage statements
- Request documentation and information from clients and follow up as needed
- Run payroll using ADP,Gusto, or QuickBooks Payroll
- Review and code receipts, invoices, and bills
- Maintain accurate records and information for each client
- Assist Bookkeeping Manager and Account Manager with various tasks
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Stay updated with accounting principles, practices, regulations, and fundamentals
- Handle general admin tasks related to the bookkeeping team
- Enter advanced bookkeeping entries, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, depreciation, and specialized transactions (e.g., real estate, private money lending).
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and implement solutions to reduce errors and optimize productivity.
- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting; review payroll reports for accuracy.

- Follow and update standardized procedures for seamless handoffs of financial records.
- Review and prepare financial reports for management, clients, and regulatory purposes.
- Stay current with accounting regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Maintain data security and confidentiality in all activities.

Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience, including 3+ years with QuickBooks Online
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google GSuite

Flexibility in schedule may occasionally be required.
