Job Description:
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying creative storytelling techniques, and enhancing videos with graphics, effects, and sound to create compelling content. This role is ideal for a skilled editor who can work efficiently within tight deadlines while maintaining high production standards.

Key Tasks: Weekly or fortnightly podcast
- Edit podcast episodes (both audio and video if applicable) on premier pro
- Export and save final files appropriately
- Transcribe episodes using Otter.a or a similar platform to generate full transcripts
- Use Munch to create short-form clips with subtitles
- Design custom YouTube and Blog thumbnails for each episode
- Use ChatGPT to create:
> A blog post summarising the episode and upload
> A YouTube description
> You Tube shorts
- Upload completed episodes to: Spotify, Apple and YouTube

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of previous work.
* Minimum 2 years of Video Editing Experience
* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
* Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Familiarity with different video formats, resolutions, and best practices for various digital platforms.??
