Expert Developer for QuickBooks API Integration

We are seeking an expert software developer with proven experience integrating the QuickBooks Online API into web applications. This role requires strong API development skills, excellent communication in English, and the ability to either work within an existing PHP/MySQL codebase or coordinate with our in-house developer who will manage backend support as needed.

Your Role:

Integrate QuickBooks Online API into our preexisting web app.

Enable automatic creation of invoices, customers, nventory syncing, payment receiving, and invoice sending.

Build front-end functionality (button-triggered) to send invoices to customer contact info via QuickBooks.

Code is uploaded to the our webserver, needs to be human friendly and readable.

Requirements:

Expertise with QuickBooks API (OAuth 2.0, RESTful endpoints, webhooks, etc.).

Strong experience with PHP and MySQL or ability to work collaboratively with our developer managing those.

Ability to provide working examples of similar QuickBooks API integrations (e.g., invoicing, customer management, inventory syncing).

Good spoken and written English.

Excellent debugging, documentation, and version control practices.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks we use (Laravel, Vue, etc.) is a plus.

Familiarity with QuickBooks sandbox/testing environments.

Additional Info:

Interview required (video call).

Must demonstrate prior projects with QuickBooks API in a live or walkthrough format.

Timeline is flexible but we’re looking to move quickly. Project starts immediately upon hire.
