JOB OVERVIEW

We’re a US-based company looking for an Email and SMS Marketing Specialist, strong Klaviyo experience is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns within Klaviyo, including promotional, automated, and lifecycle emails.
Develop and execute SMS marketing campaigns within Klaviyo, including promotional texts, abandoned cart reminders, order confirmations, and re-engagement messages.
Manage email and SMS automation workflows, including segmentation, triggers, and personalization strategies.
Develop engaging email and SMS content, including subject lines, body copy, and CTAs, aligned with brand voice.
Maintain and grow email and SMS subscriber lists while ensuring compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA regulations.
Monitor list health, manage bounces, and implement strategies to improve deliverability and sender reputation for both email and SMS.
Track and analyze key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue attribution, etc.) to optimize engagement.
Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, design, send times, and frequency to improve results.
Optimize SMS segmentation strategies to ensure messages reach the right audience while maintaining compliance with TCPA and GDPR regulations.
Utilize Klaviyo’s segmentation tools to create targeted email and SMS lists based on customer behavior, purchase history, and engagement levels.
Troubleshoot and resolve Klaviyo email and SMS rendering issues across different devices and platforms.
Create and distribute B2B email campaigns, ensuring effective communication with business partners, vendors, or wholesale clients.
Manage Faire email distribution, ensuring smooth and timely communication for wholesale purposes, promotions, and updates.
Provide regular reports and insights to refine email and SMS marketing strategies for better performance.


Skills and Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, preferably within an eCommerce or DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) brand.
Proficiency in Klaviyo (experience setting up Flows, Campaigns, Segmentation, and Reporting).
Strong understanding of email and SMS compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, TCPA) and best practices for deliverability and list management.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email formatting and troubleshooting (preferred but not required).
Experience integrating Klaviyo with Shopify
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and optimize campaigns
Excellent writing and communication skills to create engaging, on-brand content.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Project Management programs such as Asana, PowerPoint, excel and communication software
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented
Relevant certifications in Email Marketing, Klaviyo, Digital Marketing, or CRM tools (a plus).
Equivalent work experience in email and SMS marketing may be considered in place of formal education.
Fluency in English
