Job Title: Virtual Accounting Assistant
Company: Corinthian Asset Management
Location: Remote
Compensation: $5.00/hour (USD)
Hours: 40 hours/week | Preferred Start Time: 8:00 AM CST

Corinthian Asset Management is a growing multifamily investment and property management firm operating across Texas and Mississippi. We manage a portfolio of five properties and expanding, with a focus on operational excellence and efficient team collaboration.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and bookkeeping functions across our portfolio. This is a long-term, full-time position with room for growth. You’ll collaborate closely with our existing virtual team and may be asked to provide light Executive Assistant support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily data entry and bookkeeping tasks

Assist with bank reconciliations, payables/receivables, and general ledger management

Support month-end close and financial reporting processes

Coordinate with property-level teams to reconcile records and resolve discrepancies

Work within Entrata property management software and Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)

Maintain document organization and file integrity

Support executive-level administrative tasks when required

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of general bookkeeping or accounting assistant experience

Prior experience using Entrata is a must

Proficient in Office 365 suite (especially Teams, To-Do Outlook, OneDrive and Outlook)

Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Tech-savvy, quick learner, and comfortable navigating cloud-based platforms

High attention to detail, dependable, and highly organized

Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision

Prior experience supporting U.S. property management or real estate firms

Experience working with remote teams and handling confidential information

Willingness to assist with executive administrative tasks (calendar, file management, etc.)


Addendum: Executive Assistant Responsibilities
In addition to core accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities, this role will also function as an Executive Assistant, reporting directly to the CEO. The EA component is focused on reducing operational bottlenecks and ensuring that the CEO remains responsive, organized, and available to the broader leadership team.

Key EA Responsibilities Include:
Calendar & Schedule Management
Coordinate and manage both personal and business schedules
Ensure high-priority meetings, deliverables, and internal obligations are proactively organized
To-Do List & Task Oversight
Maintain and organize the executive’s task list
Track and follow up on action items and ensure visibility on all mission-critical tasks
Daily Communication & Reporting
Submit a concise Plan of Day (POD) report each morning outlining key objectives and appointments
Provide an End of Day (EOD) report summarizing completed tasks, unresolved issues, and blockers
MS Teams Monitoring & CEO Coordination
Monitor MS Teams channels and chats for pending decisions or approvals requiring CEO input
Ensure timely follow-through and response to the Operations team and other department leads
Flag high-priority items and coordinate CEO approvals to avoid delays in execution
Administrative Support
Help prepare documents, coordinate meetings, and assist with communications or research as requested
Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and responsiveness in all aspects of support
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple communication threads while keeping the executive team informed and on track.


Schedule & Flexibility:

Preferred schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM CST (50 hours/week)
